Dear readers and fellow bloggers:

Good morning and Happy Sunday to you all. Last Friday we had to visit a US Postal Service office in Miami to send some documents and we were promptly, kindly taken care of by Ms. Tee, the lovely lady you are seeing in the feature image of this article. She is one of the thousands of Federal and State workers that keep this nation going.

We would like to thank the millions of similar state employees worldwide that have reported to their duties in spite of all the mayhem swirling around them, including the dire “social distancing” that forbids one of the most basic human functions: touching. Moreover many grieving relatives of gravely infected persons have not even had the opportunity to say the ultimate adieu to them, another strong cultural feature of us.

Without these brave men and women, there could not be a functioning society for us.

Thanks for your sacrifice for us.

What do you think? Please tell us.

Don’t leave me alone.

  1. Good morning Dr. Sahib.

My thanks for all the medical community for coming to the succor to the citizenry when NOVEL CORONAVIRUS is spreading like wildfire. But for the help of these professionals our general health and wellness would have been under cloud.

Your write-up high lights the alacrity with which our medical professionals are performing their jobs. But we as citizens should also take care that we have to obey the guidelines in order the keep ourselves safe from this virus which spreads due to personal contacts. Therefore keeping at a safe distance in the form of hand shakes – saying NAMASTE from a distance will do, putting on face masks while going outside, as far as possible obey the guidance and guidelines of W.H.O. for keeping this virus away. Social partying can await till such time the condition meliorates.

Your selfi with your son is really impressive. Keeping happy while everything is not rosy is really need of the hour. ,

As always, your write up is timely.

    1. Good morning and thanks for your nice commentary, my dear spiritual friend across the oceans. Yes, it has been really tough for all of those, like me, that have had to go out to see patients to fulfill our oath. However, I have had the blessing of sharing the social distancing with my son, which brings me extreme joy and renews my civic commitment as a physician and writer. Thank you for the “timely” compliment. We try hard to be. I am writing now an article titled “Is the coronavirus pandemia a punishment for our sins?” and it should be ready in a couple of hours.
      A big hug. Arrivederci.

      1. Good morning Dr. Sahib.

While we are very thankful to the medical community for their errvice to the humanity as a whole, we have also think about their own social lives.

I shall go through your write-up which would be giving the genesis of Novel Coronavirus and also the role of China and WHO too.

        With regards
