Dear readers, listeners and fellow bloggers:

Good afternoon. On January 26th we celebrated India’s Independence Day, the day in 1950 when the Constitution of the largest and one of the youngest democracies of the planet was ratified. The British colonizers granted independence to the country on August 15th 1947 and India celebrates its 73th anniversary. The country could exercise self-government but they did not have the draft of a modern Constitution that would preserve the rights of millions of hitherto dispossessed peasants. According to a comprehensive article by Harbans, our Brahminic mentor, the government created a commission to draft the document which was initially done on November 4th 1947. The country’s National Assembly approved it on January 24th 1950 and it went into effect on January 26th 1950.

To all our Indian friends, business associates and loyal readers and listeners we are saying in unison.

Long Live India !!!!

Stay distant. Stay safe. Stay beautiful.

What do you think? Please tell us.

Don’t leave me alone.
