Good morning and Happy Sunday. Today we are celebrating the 100the anniversary of the birth of one of the greatest Italian theater and film directors of all times. Gian Franco Corsi Zeffirelli was born on February 12, 1923, in Florence and passed away on June 15, 2019, in Rome. He was well known for his extravagant mise en scène of the classical plays in his theater productions, which he repeated in his filmography.
